THE MARTIAN CASTING – The Martian is adding everyone! Three more join the upcoming sci-fi film: Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mackenzie Davis, and Sebastian Stan.
Ejiofor is currently filming Z for Zachariah with Chris Pine.
Davis is appearing in the horror comedy Kitchen Sink.
Stan recently starred in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and is co-starring in the comedy The Bronze.
Based on Andy Weir‘s self-published novel, the upcoming film centers on an astronaut who is left stranded on Mars during a routine mission. Alone and with limited resource, he must use his technical skills to survive the unpredictable conditions on Mars.
The Martian is directed by Ridley Scott and also stars Matt Damon, Kate Mara, Jessica Chastain, Michael Peña, Kristen Wiig, Jeff Daniels, and Sean Bean.
PLOT: An astronaut, stranded on Mars, struggles to survive.
